Arabic Puss In Boots

My scientific illustration class was taught simultaneously with the illustration class, their final project was to take a fairy tale or story and change the culture. This final sounded a lot of fun so I made my own illustration too, even though I was not being graded for it. I chose the story of Puss in Boots and made the culture Arabic. I wanted to make this so it looked like a story from 1001 Nights, like Aladdin and Sinbad. Done in markers, colored pencils and gel pens.
